Walk for Autism

On November 4th, Brittany spent another day volunteering, this time at the Walk for Autism. It was an early morning, but well worth it. This morning she was joined by her sister Galaxy Queens and the Arizona American Coed Queens.

Waiting to be sent to our location for the morning. I'll bet they'll take a nap when they get home!

Brittany, Yara and Tana with the Phoenix Coyote.

The girls were cheerleaders along the route. Their job was to cheer on the walkers and keep them going. They did an amazing job!

Elisa Rister, Mrs. Arizona United States 2007 and Gina De Simone, Ms. Arizona United States 2007, stopped for a photo with all the girls. That's a lot of queens in one photo!

Luis Gonzalez was gracious enough to stop for a photo with Brittany, Tana and Yara. He was a fan favorite when he was on the Diamondbacks, currently he's with the LA Dodgers.

One of the ways the girls cheered people on was by "building" a tunnel. Some of the walkers, particularly the kids, really loved this.

At the end of the walk Orlando Hudson was signing autographs. He is currently a second baseman for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He had formed O's team, which had a very large group walking.
